Ever since Hailey Bieber's beauty brand Rhode made its debut in the UK in 2023, we've been in the throws of “glazed donut skin” mania. The brand's latest launch only boosts those efforts. The new Pineapple Refresh Cleanser is a wish fulfilment for Hailey's 51 million loyal followers. It also promises to be the missing piece in your skincare routine, creating a fresh canvas for the Skin Glazing Milk, Peptide Glazing Fluid and Skin Barrier Restore Cream that follows.
A core tenet of Rhode, which refers to Hailey's middle name (as well as that of her mother), is the promise of ethereal, glowing skin and glossy lips for all. Read GLAMOUR's interview with Hailey on the inspiration for Rhode and her beauty hacks here.
All Rhode products are vegan, gluten free, cruelty free and, crucially, flood all skin types with hydration – even sensitive skin. And in line with the star's democratic approach to beauty, the entire collection – including the Pineapple Refresh Cleanser (launching 25 January, 2024) – boasts pleasingly affordable prices, with everything costing under £30.

Rhode Skincare
Rhode Skin landed in the UK on 17 May 2023. At the time, in a joint post with Rhode's official Instagram account, Hailey Bieber wrote, "WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF RHODE."
“…we are a line of curated skincare essentials made with thoughtful intention. our formulas nourish your skin barrier to instantly give you dewy, delicious skin while improving its look and feel over time.”
“we spent years working on our formulas with our skin board of dermatologists and chemists to make sure that every rhode product restores, protects and nurtures your skin. our formulas only use high-performance ingredients at efficacious levels. each one is purposeful, non-sensitizing, and chosen for its efficacy because a happy skin barrier is a glowy skin barrier. ✨ ”
The model and entrepreneur's roster of ingredients unsurprisingly includes some of the most Googled and TikTok-famous skincare actives. Think niacinamide to brighten, nourish and improve skin texture; peptides, aka amino acids that keep skin plump and firm, as well as hyaluronic acid and squalane to replenish moisture and keep the skin barrier happy.
Rhode Pineapple Refresh Cleanser review:pineapple refresh THE DAILY CLEANSER“It's not often that a cleanser surprises, but the Pineapple Refresh goes above and beyond. For starters, it doesn't neatly slot into a single cleanser category. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's every cleanser texture rolled into one; it starts out as a balm but then turns into a milky, bubbly foam on contact with water that elevates this product from a basic first step. Despite being very kind to skin, it still does the heavy lifting when it comes to removing makeup and sunscreen. But for me, the standout is the clever combination of ingredients. I can't stress how gentle the exfoliating enzymes in this cleanser are, but it's like Hailey has taken an insurance policy out for sensitive skin by also including soothing green tea extract and hydrating polyglutamic acid. Normally, my skin can't tolerate an exfoliating cleanser more than twice a week but I have been using a lab sample of this product every evening without any gnarly side effects. Not only that, but my skin feels really soft post-rinse rather than tight, and colleagues have commented on its glow. Another bonus is the scent. Don't worry, the cleanser is free from synthetic fragrances but the natural scent of pineapple from the enzymes imparts a gorgeous, subtle tropical scent.”
Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Treatment (original Unscented, Salted Caramel, Watermelon Slice) review:Rhode Skin Peptide Lip TreatmentFull disclosure: I'm a sucker for a glossy lip, and as someone who has dry skin, I appreciate when a product also helps me keep my lips nice and nourished throughout the day. When I got my hands on the original three Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Treatments, I was hooked almost immediately. I loved the minimalist packaging, but most of all, I enjoyed how the formula felt on my lips both upon application and a few hours on. It provides the perfect glass-like finish and results in no stickiness whatsoever. My personal favourite? The Salted Caramel one, and if you're into sweet, dessert-like scents, you'll be obsessed, too. – Denise Primbet, GLAMOUR's Beauty Commerce Writer
Only a few weeks ago, Hailey officially declared this season “strawberry girl summer 🍓” on Instagram with a carousel of pictures that included a selfie with pink glazed lips and another picture where a Rhode-branded strawberry sticker sits on the tip of her nose. So it came as no surprise when she launched a Peptide Lip Treatment in the Strawberry Glaze flavour. I'm a lip balm girl through and through so I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the high-shine of the Peptide Lip Treatments. As it turns out, they elevate my usual makeup bag staple. Like the lovechild between a balm and a gloss, the Peptide Lip Treatments keep my lips plumper than a hotel pillow and while they do have more sheen than I'm used to, they don't feel in the least bit tacky or gloopy. My favourite flavour is the new Strawberry Glaze. As a child, I grew up in the US at a time when everyone I knew used Cherry Chapstick to hydrate their lips. I was obsessed with that little tube. The smell of the Strawberry Glaze Peptide Lip Treatment is not dissimilar; the scent is both familiar and nostalgic and I've been applying it with the same gusto. – Fiona Embleton, GLAMOUR's Acting Associate Beauty Director
Rhode Skin Barrier Restore Cream review:Rhode Skin Barrier Restore CreamThis lightweight cream is a powerhouse of skin goodies including niacinamide, shea butter, squalane and peptides and the light, unscented formula feels kind to skin. So if you like your skincare simple and straight up, then this use-anytime-anywhere cream is a trouble free option that's likely to be your bag. If your skin needs more hydration support layer with the Glazing Fluid, or if you prefer something a little heftier in texture then you may want to look elsewhere. I found it super easy and pleasant to use as an everyday and travel option, which I'll switch in alongside some of my favourite hardworking actives, when my skin needs simplicity – Camilla Kay, GLAMOUR'S Deputy Editor & European Beauty Director
Rhode Skin Peptide Glazing Fluid review:Rhode Skin Peptide Glazing FluidMy go-to beauty look is all about dew saturated skin that lets freckles have their day. Basically, I worship at the altar of Hailey's glossy girl aesthetic in every Rhode Instagram post so I couldn't wait to try this serum-gel-highlighter hybrid. It didn't disappoint. The four pumps I massaged onto my freshly cleansed skin absorbed quickly and it plumped out any fine lines under my eyes, which is typically a very dry area, thanks to the hyaluronic acid in the formula. OK, it wasn't exactly screaming ‘glazed donut’, but rather it imparted a healthy, soft-focus sheen to my skin. If you want a more strategic glow, try patting a few drops onto the tops of your cheekbones and the bridge of your nose – something which makeup artists swear by on shoots for a natural highlight. Crucially, my skin stayed juicy all day without looking in the least bit greasy. – Fiona Embleton, GLAMOUR'S Acting Associate Beauty Director
Rhode Skin Glazing Milk review:Glycerin, hyaluronic acid and ceramides all take centre stage in the Glazing Milk to replenish and lock in hydration. There's also beta glucan to attract water to the skin's top layer, as well as anti-inflammatory zinc and copper. The milky texture feels deliciously cooling while the slightly damp finish is the ideal base for any serum you choose to apply over the top, helping to drive the actives deeper into your skin. The Glazing Milk has a thicker consistency than most essences — it's more like a watery serum and the type of product I'd wear on its own under my facial sunscreen in the summer. Unlike other essences that I have tried, which sit somewhere between an oil and a toner, this has a thicker consistency. It is, as the moniker implies, a lightweight milk so I recommend pouring a generous amount into the palm of your hand and gently pressing it into your skin. – Fiona Embleton, GLAMOUR'S Acting Associate Beauty Director
Rhode Makeup
Hailey made her first foray into the makeup space on 21 September 2023, starting with an amped up version of her viral Peptide Lip Treatment in four sheer-but-buildable shades. Think of it as the lovechild of a coloured lipgloss and a skin-loving lip balm.
Hailey's cool latte makeup with its ‘90s supermodel vibes has become a blueprint for my beauty look this season. So when she told me in our interview that she was had “really been leaning into the Espresso shade a lot”, I knew this was going to become my go-to shade, too. Taking my cues from Hailey, I sometimes just apply the Lip Tint in an effortless slick or I’ll outline my lips with a similar shade of lip liner first if I want a more polished, desk-to-bar look. – Fiona Embleton, GLAMOUR's Acting Associate Beauty Director
Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Tint in Toast review:Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Tint in ToastThe perfect shade for all nude lip lovers, but what I personally love is that it doesn't land in beige territory. Rather than wash some skin tones out this is a universally-flattering rose taupe hue. Not only that, but unlike a lot of nude lipsticks that can look and feel chalky as the day goes on, you have the reassurance that the Lip Tints are a hybrid skincare-makeup product, powered by serious hydration. – Fiona Embleton, GLAMOUR's Acting Associate Beauty Director
Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Tint in Raspberry Jelly review:Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Tint in Raspberry JellyThis is another one of my personal favourites and definitely the most pigmented of the bunch. I love pairing a berry blusher with lips in a similar hue, both in summer to create a sun-flushed look and in winter to mimic a just-back-from-a windswept-walk glow. – Fiona Embleton, GLAMOUR's Acting Associate Beauty Director
Rhode Peptide Lip Tint in Ribbon review:Rhode Peptide Lip Tint in RibbonThe beauty of the Lip Tints is that you can build up the desired colour. As the name implies, Ribbon is a your-lips-but-better shade – think a pretty yet pared-back pinky peach hue on those white T-shirt and jeans kind of days. I also like dabbing a little of this shade onto my cheekbones for a glass-skin effect. – Fiona Embleton, GLAMOUR's Acting Associate Beauty Director
